34D Breast: What Implant Size Do I Need?

34D Breast

If you are getting breast implants, one of your most important considerations is choosing your breast implant size.  While plastic surgeons often do not talk with you about a specific cup size in your breast augmentation consultation, the bra cup size is the only real reference we have to breast size.  One of the best ways to see what implant size you will need to get to a 34D breast size is through the use of breast implant sizers.

What cup size are you currently?  The breast implant size you will need depends significantly upon your current cup size.   Using sizers you can estimate the size of the actual implant that you need in order to achieve your goal size.    The fact is that they are not only important to use, but fun to try on as well.

34D Breast Implant Sizes

Let's take a look at a few examples based on your current cup size:

If you are a 34AA cup size today, you will need breast implant sizers of 325cc, 375cc, and 425cc in order to get into the 34D breast range.

34A to 34D: 300cc, 350cc, 400cc

34B to 34D: 275cc, 325cc, 375cc

34C to 34D: 200cc, 250cc, 300cc

Using breast implant sizers you will get a feel for the full range of 34D breast sizes, from a small D, to medium D, and a full D cup.  The implant sizers can be a good reference for your plastic surgeon who will want to know from you more than just cup size.   You should try these out on your own time then wear your favorite set of sizers to your plastic surgeons office during the consultation.  This is the best way to fully communicate to your surgeon what cup size you really want to be.

The difficult thing about referring to cup sizes is that there is no standardization for measurements in the bra industry.  After breast augmentation you might be a D breast in one bra, a C or DD in another.  Additionally, there is a range of sizes within the “D cup” as noted above.

This is why using breast implant sizers is so very useful.  After trying on a full set of sizers you will begin to notice whether you want a full D, medium, or small.   The Purlz Breast Sizing System is the first system that allows to try these sizes on and wear them throughout your daily activities.  They look and feel natural within a bra.
